Know Before You Go

Everything you need to know to have a safe, comfortable, and successful fishing trip with Just Rippin Lips.

What's Included

  • All rods, reels, and tackle
  • Live bait
  • Fish cleaning and bagging
  • Life vests for all passengers
  • Coast Guard certified vessel

What to Bring

  • Valid Oregon fishing license (required for all anglers 12+)
  • Warm, layered clothing — it gets cold on the water
  • Rain gear or waterproof jacket
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Cooler to take your catch home
  • Motion sickness medication if needed (take before boarding)
  • Camera or phone for photos

Fishing Licenses

  • All anglers age 12 and older must have a valid Oregon fishing license
  • Licenses can be purchased online at myodfw.com or at local sporting goods stores
  • A Combined Angling Tag (CAT) is required for salmon and steelhead
  • Halibut requires a separate Columbia River Endorsement or Pacific Halibut tag — check current ODFW regulations

Safety & Policies

  • All passengers must wear a life vest at all times — appropriately sized vests are provided
  • Children are welcome aboard — please confirm appropriate life vest sizes when booking
  • No alcohol allowed on board
  • Arrive at the dock at least 15 minutes before departure
  • Trips may be cancelled due to unsafe weather or sea conditions — safety is always the priority
  • Seasickness bags are available on board
